No Resonant Frequency: Competing devices are most effective at their one tuned (resonant) frequency and give uneven sound fields due to the devices different diameters. Studio Columns, being passive acoustic devices, and constructed of foam specifically fabricated for acoustics, do not have a resonant frequency.
